Job Overview:
As Regional Logistics Manager you’ll be responsible for managing Logistics Services Contractor, Helicopter Services Contractor, Marine Vessel Contractor, Company Onshore Supply Base, SIA Subsea installation / EPCi logistics interface, Turret installation logistics interface, FPSO logistics interface, HASMAR & Oil Spill Logistics interface and the Company Coordinators
Responsibilities:
- Develop plans to deliver logistics services for domestic and international activities
- Develop materials management strategies and plans for all areas of operation to source, expedite and dispose of materials
- Develop logistics management systems and processes that support Project Development requirements and provide assurance of process compliance and risk management
- Monitor logistics service delivery and continuously improve service quality and efficiency through applying global best practices and technologies
- Develop logistics resource forecasts and plans to meet all project requirements
- Manage the skill pool of deployed resources for all shore-based materials management resources
- Assist the Project Development Team to define logistics requirements to support rig start-up planning, following the Company’s Managing Rig Operations process
- Provide assurance to the project planning is proceeding to plan and that all risks are understood and managed
- Ensure through audit that all logistics activities, including those related to dangerous goods, are conducted in accordance with the Company defined logistics standards and local regulatory requirements
- Track performance and cost relating to logistics operations
Requirements:
- Ideally have a degree in Logistics or similar discipline.
- Extensive oil and gas logistics experience, including demonstratable experience related to drilling and completion operations and oil and gas Developments.
- Significant International logistics experience including West Africa and Europe.
