DHL Global Forwarding Gabon has an opening for a Pricing Manager and Special Project where you will be responsible for IP Country Pricing Strategy and its overall execution, overseeing adherence to standards and pricing instructions, overseeing execution of commercial AFR/OFR/Road freight and be responsible for specific allocated IP contract execution and performances. In this Pricing Manager and Special Project position
- You will own and ensure Country IP standard tariffs are maintained.
- You will ensure execution of IP pricing and commercial strategy locally.
- You will drive competitive pricing as well as drive Execution of pricing campaigns (e.g. seasonal offers).
- You will have good Negotiation skill with the carriers.
- You will ensure execution of country Tender response, in particular qualification of Tenders received, formulation of Tender strategy, gathering and checking of pricing inputs, consolidates country bid response.
- You will ensure Interaction with customers in alignment with Sales.
- You will ensure customer requirements are met and takes corrective actions in case of deviations from customer requirements.
- You will offer DGF IP innovative products, solutions to local Gabon market.
- You will handle specific allocated projects and insure it success.
- You will manage interface with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers.
- You will ensure business implementation in line with customer requirements, taking corrective actions in case of deviations from customer requirements.
- You will monitor customer set goals, Analyze, and review processes to ensure target achievements.
- You will be handling project accounts to meet their requirements and provide the customers with the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- You will be meeting customer on regular interval to build up a good business relationship.
- You will be communicating with the customer on regular interval to get the service feed backs and analyzing area of improvement to enhance the service level.
- You will be evaluating customer’s feedback on service provided on monthly basis to meet the highest level of service satisfaction.
- You will be heading and coordinating with the team and ensuring job completion in the most effective manner.
- You will be coordinating with Airlines & shipping service providers to get the best service level to match the need of the customer.
- You will be analyzing service issues and implicating performance improvement processes to improve future service delivery.
- You will be responding to customer query and providing them with solutions on mode and movement of the shipment.
- You will be analyzing requirement of the customer and offering most efficient product and route to meet the requirement in the most efficient way.
- You will provide direction and support to Country and Project’s teams.
- You will be responsible for communication of company information and procedural changes e.g. through team briefings
- You will be responsible for Performance Management – appraisal, evaluation, staff development.

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or any business degree
- 5 years’ experience or more in the related field
