Introduction:
The job purpose of the Stock Controller’s role is to manage with the Material requisitioning, physical receipt of goods, inspection, storage and accounting for inventory stock in both the Main Warehouse and Lay down Yards.
Key requirements:
Knowledge&Experience
Minimum of 5 years in Warehouse and Supply management of which at least 2 years were in a Warehouse setup and development role in a remote Mining environment;
Extensive knowledge of storing and handling of various hazardous chemicals;
Prior proven experience of working on a mine/process plant.
Qualifications
Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory
management;
B.Com or Business management qualification would be advantageous;
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Warehouse Management Systems.
