Key responsibilities
Process/Operation:
- Supply planning and analysis and interpretation of planning data, ensuring execution of purchase and production plans aligned with business objectives
- Preparation Capex and business case motivation with industrial and procurement team
- Preparation and coordination of monthly reporting for relevant countries for NCM, Aging, stock projection ensuring capturing and tracking of actions
- Auto-parc management (Investissement, maintenance, spendings)
- Follow HSE recommendation by authorities and defined by the group
- Price negotiation with internal and external vendors and ensuring procurement process is documented for audit purposes
- Ensuring supply chain master data is well maintained, clean and that processed exist to verify and amend as needed
Finance:
- Cost management and tracking of SKU costs, explanation of variance and closing of gaps where issues are found
- Anticipation and reactivity to align costs for incinerator services
- Budget management and generation of savings initiatives to reach stretch targets
- CAPEX management
- Analyzing supply chain data and performance to track against targets and close gaps
- Inventory variances explanation and approval process
- Spend and contribution to cash flow analysis – as it relates to spend and payments
Team management:
- Proactively identify initiatives that will lead to easier ways of working and continuous improvement of processes including review of distribution and supply networks.
- Coaching and management of diverse regional team
- Ensuring regional, sub-regional and local goals and cascaded and defined to individual level for all direct and indirect reports to ensure detailed and effective performance management
- Ensure talent in the team is protected and developed based on current and future business needs increasing engagement of teams
- Regular review of division of work and structures supporting the business. Adjusting as needed after consultation with impacted stakeholders
- Managing discipline and ensuring quality of work in maintaining and exceeding UPL standards
Candidate profile
Degrees required
- Degree or Diploma in Supply chain management, Chemistry, Logistics or Engineering
- Certification in business administration, CIPS, APICS or any certifications in Lean manufacturing methodologies will be an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English business language
- Expert in production and Logistics for the specific region
Experiences
- Minimum 7 years’ experience of management in a factory or supply chain environment in the agrochemical industry or related industries
- Knowledge of the seed industry and Agrochemicals is highly desirable

- Expert in MRP, PDP and production planning
- Expert in SAP, knowledge in APO/SNP and analysis of MRP
- Ability to understand or experience and understanding of regulations and rules governing compliant operations for the countries of responsibility
- Understanding of corporate governance and general business principles
